Transperth took a colourful stand for the LGBTQIA+ community with the unveiling of a striking rainbow bus, symbolising our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Wrapped in partnership with JCDecaux, the bus was officially launched on August 30 by Transport Minister Rita Saffioti and Emergency Services Minister Stephen Dawson, and proudly carries the “Ride with Pride” slogan in giant letters along its sides.
Transperth has a history of supporting the Pride community, exemplifying our dedication to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our rainbow bus is the boldest manifestation of this commitment yet, signifying that everyone deserves respect and to feel safe while being themselves on public transport.
